Flexography is a technique of relief printing where we use elastic form print - photopolymer plate. By compensating unevenness of surface material and printing unit this form makes possible to print on a variety of different materials such as: cardboard, wavy cardboard, aluminium the foil, self-adhesive labels, foil (PP, PE), paper as well as plastics.
Photopolymer plates for flexography became introduced on the beginning of the seventies. In result of progress in research processes, plates are constantly refined and currently they are characterized by very good tranfer of ink, edge sharpness of halftone points, and also by a great durability (large expenditures).
To the best known manufactures of polymer´s materials for flexographic printing belongs: Flint Group ®, DuPont ®, Kodak ®.
Photopolymer plates occurring in two types: one-layered plates and multi-layered plates. They are applied interchangeably depending on the needs and requirements of customer.
